Select a News Category from the dropdown box. 3. Click one of the Headlines that is displayed on the right side. 4. Enter your Opinion in the textbox that is labeled "Your Opinion about this News Item". 5. Click the [Publish Your Opinion] button. Your most recently entered Opinion will immediately appear at the top of the Members' Opinions page. The message "This website has been displayed in a new window" is shown, but no website is displayed. You must disable your popup blocker. I forgot my password (or my password doesn't work). On your homepage (www.HereIam.tv/Your Username), click the link on the right side to retrieve a 'Lost password'. Nothing happens when I change the settings on the Administration Page. You must click [Save Changes] for the settings to become active. What is the Font Size setting for (on the Administration Page)? When you click [Save Changes], the links at the bottom of the Administration Page will use the Font Size that you selected. What are the New Window checkboxes for (on the Administration Page), and why is there no checkbox on the first row? If a website will not display on the same page as HereIam.tv (such as Twitter, or a MySpace page that requires a login), then check the New Window checkbox. This will cause an asterisk to appear after the link's title, indicating that the website will appear in a new browser window (instead of on the same page as HereIam.tv). This may require that visitors to your homepage disable their popup blocker. You may not set the default link (the link that appears first on your homepage) to display in a new window, since that would require that a popup is immediately displayed when your homepage is shown, which is not allowed by most browsers. How do I change the Order of the links that are shown on my homepage? On your Administration Page, you may change the numbers that appear in the Order column. How do I Delete a link that I had previously entered? On your Administration Page, clear any of the first three fields on that row, and click [Save Changes]. For example, you can just remove the number that appears in the Order column. When I click [Save Changes] on the Administration Page, my changes are not saved. If "Your changes have been saved" is not displayed, then please confirm that cookies are enabled on your browser. May I have more than one HereIam.tv homepage? You may sign-up more than once. Each HereIam.tv homepage must have a unique Username. Multi-User Chat Rooms: These features are on the Multi-User Chat Rooms tab of your Administration Page. Overview: This screen allows you to create and join multi-user chat rooms with other HereIam.tv users. While participating in a chat room, you can display any guest's HereIam.tv profile by clicking their name (which appears before each message). Each chat room has one Host (the user that created the chat room), and up to 20 Guests (other HereIam.tv users that joined the chat room). You may easily switch between multiple chat rooms. However, only one chat room's messages may be displayed at one time. Therefore, when you create or join a chat room, you are automatically removed from the chat room that was previously displayed. Create Chat Room: Each chat room is associated with a HereIam.tv Username. Your Username is displayed on the upper-right section of your Administration Page, beneath the Contact Us link, to the right of "www.HereIam.tv/". You will give your HereIam.tv Username to other HereIam.tv users that wish to join your chat room. If you wish to add some security to your chat room, then enter an alpha-numeric Access Code (to the left of Start My Chat Room). Users will then only be able to access your chat room if they correctly enter your Access Code. Click [Start My Chat Room] to create your chat room. You will automatically become a guest of your own chat room, and the first message ("Chat Room started.") will be displayed. If you leave a chat room that you created (either by clicking [Leave Chat], or by joining a different chat room), the [Display My Chat Room] button will be displayed, which allows you to re-Display your chat room. Stop Chat Room: When a chat room that you are hosting is running, the [Stop My Chat Room] button will be displayed. Clicking that button will cause all guests to be removed from your chat room (including yourself), and the chat room will be terminated. A chat room is automatically stopped if no messages are added within 10 minutes. Join Another User's Chat Room: To the right of the Join Another User's Chat Room heading, enter the Host's HereIam.tv Username and (optionally) Host's Access Code, and click [Join Chat Room]. If an active chat room exists with those parameters, then it will be displayed, and you may then Add Messages (as described below). When you join a chat room, all the messages are displayed (from the time the chat room was created). Therefore, if you click [Leave Chat], you will not miss any messages if you re-join the same chat room later. Add Messages: When you create or join a chat room, the My Message textbox is displayed on the right side of the screen. You may enter up to 140 characters, which are submitted by pressing [Enter] (while this textbox has the focus). Your message will then appear at the bottom of the current chat room (on the left side of the screen). Ask Chat Robot: When the My Message textbox is displayed (on the right side of the screen), you may submit your message to the Chat Robot by clicking the [Ask Chat Robot] button (instead of pressing [Enter]). Your message, and the Chat Robot's response, will then appear at the bottom of the current chat room (on the left side of the screen). Save or Print Chat Log: The following instructions will allow you to Save or Print a Chat Log: Click on any blank area of the screen that is not a textbox or link. For example, the lower-right corner of the screen. Press [Ctrl A], which selects all the text on the "Multi-User Chat Rooms" tab. Press [Ctrl C], which copies all the text to the Windows Clipboard. Run the program that you wish to use to Save or Print the text, such as Notepad or MS Word. Use that program's command to paste the text. In Notepad press [Ctrl V], and in MS Word press [Alt E] followed by 'S', and select "Unformatted Text". Delete the extra lines which appear before and after the Chat Log.
